About the project
When MCAP, a cornerstone of Canada’s independent mortgage sector, had outgrown their Kitchener offices, they turned to their trusted workplace strategies partner, Mayhew Inc., to craft a new space. After a thorough year of exploration, MCAP selected the Factory Square Campus, a modern glass and steel conversion in Waterloo’s innovation hub, The Idea Quarter.
The design’s focus was fostering growth, innovation, and creativity, seamlessly blending MCAP’s success with Canada’s heritage and the local tech energy. Architectural elements like expansive windows, steel columns, and brick walls were interwoven with the brand’s identity, even serving practical functions through artful design.
The result is more than an office; it’s a testament to advancement, an homage to the nation’s story, and a celebration of synergy with the vibrant local community.
